If your port of entry in Spain is Madrid or Barcelona, you can get to Valencia by plane, by train (www.renfe.es) or by bus.
Madrid
If you chose to travel by train, it is worth noting that from Madrid, the AVE (high-speed train) takes you to Valencia in less than two hours.
From the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport, you can get to the Atoche train station by “metro” (subway) or by cab. The train will take you to the Joaquín Sorolla train station in the heart of Valencia. Should you take any non-high-speed train, your final destination would be Estación del Norte, also in the heart of the city. High-speed ticket holders can take a free shuttle to the Estación del Norte.

Barcelona
From the El Prat Barcelona airport, you can take a Rodalies train to Sants. From there, you can take a semi-high-speed train, Euromed (recommended), or any other train to Valencia.
