Presentation
This course is organised within the framework of the project "European University for Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability" to increase the knowledge of the alliance's teaching staff on teaching methodologies in English.
It is organised by the UCV as leader of the WP2 work package "Joint study programs and Educational Training Offers" and the University of La Rochelle (responsible for the support of teaching staff).
The training is addressed to teachers who teach or will teach, in EU-CONEXUS joint degrees (Bachelor, Master, Ph.D.). The training is part of the quality of studies procedures, where EU-CONEXUS and each individual university are committed to supporting teaching staff in teaching excellence and obtaining C1 level in English.
Outcomes
At the end of the workshops the teachers should be able:
- To implement a learning outcome approach to develop adequate teaching strategies.
- To compare and evaluate teaching strategies
- To develop a course using a lesson plan template
- To align assessments, learning objectives, and instructional strategies
- To identify the desired results of their course
- To Determine acceptable evidence of the success of their students
- To Plan adequate instructional strategies
- To reflect upon various assessment implementations in a multi-cultural environment
- Set up a Moodle course environment suitable for international students.
- Produce a digital overview of their course.
- Manipulate and customize their class material on the Moodle platform
